Horror fans in Southern California can rejoice because Screamfest is back! Founded in 2001 by film producers Rachel Belofsky and Ross Martin, Screamfest Horror Film Festival is the largest and longest-running horror film festival in the United States. The 2019 Festival will be held at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in Hollywood. Screamfest premieres and showcases new work from American and international independent horror filmmakers. The film festival runs from Oct.8th-Oct.17th.
Over ten days, Screamfest will offer a slate of 26 feature-length films, many followed by a Q&A with the director and cast, as well as several short films. The film festival opens Tuesday, Oct. 8th, 2019 with a teenage zombie rom-com, Eat, Brain, Love. A Q&A will follow the movie with director Rodman Flender (Idle Hands) along with the cast including; Jake Cannavale, Angelique Rivera, Sarah Yarkin, Patrick Fabian, and Jim Titus. The festival will close Oct. 17th with the film We Summon the Darkness followed immediately by Q&A with director Marc Meyers, Alexandra Daddario, Keean Johnson, Johnny Knoxville, Logan Miller, Maddie Hasson, Amy Forsyth, and Austin Swift.

A Good Woman is Hard to Find (US Premiere)

Synopsis: A dynamic killer thriller, with its finger firmly on the pulse of stark social commentary and shattering suspense.
