Amazon Studios has released a trailer for BLISS starring Owen Wilson & Salma Hayek. The film is written and directed by Mike Cahill, known for sci-fi indies ANOTHER EARTH and I, ORIGINS. The sci-fi love story definitely seems to give off BLACK MIRROR and MATRIX vibes. The story revolves around a divorced disenchanted man Greg who meets Isabel in a chance encounter. Isabel believes the ugly world they live in is just a simulation inside a beautiful real world. BLISS will premier worldwide on Amazon Prime on February 5th, 2021.

Bliss is a mind-bending love story that follows recently divorced Greg whose life is falling apart meets the enchanting Isabel, a woman who lives on the streets and is convinced that the polluted, broken world around them is not real. She believes they are living in an ugly, harsh world simulation inside of the beautiful, peaceful “real” world of bliss. Doubtful at first, Greg eventually discovers there may be some truth to Isabel’s wild conspiracy theory.
