Culturally Obsessed’s Jennifer Ortega recently spoke with Whitney Call and Mallory Everton about their new film STOP AND GO. Call and Whitney co-wrote the film and star as Jamie & Blake, two sisters forced on a cross-country road trip to rescue their grandmother from a nursing home during a pandemic. Everton also co-directed the film with Stephen Meek. Call and Mallory are performers and writers best known for the sketch comedy series Studio C. STOP AND GO opens in theaters and is available digitally on October 1st, 2021. Click below to watch the interview.

Synopsis: Sisters Blake and Jamie’s big plans for the year come to a screeching halt when they are forced to rescue their grandmother and her beloved dog from her nursing home, before their reckless sister can get there first. They embark on a hilarious cross-country race against time while contending with a deranged dog breeder, a highly inappropriate 9-year-old, and a clueless Romeo, all in the name of family.
