DEFINING MOMENTS is a new heartwarming comedy from writer/director Stephen Wallis. DEFINING MOMENTS also has the distinction of being Burt Reynold’s final screen performance. Reynold’s final role is a sweet and loving tribute to the iconic actor. The film is told in chapters and tells the stories of 8 different people at various “defining moments” in their lives. Culturally Obsessed’s Jennifer Ortega recently spoke with writer/director Stephen Wallis and co-stars Polly Shannon and Eric Peterson. Shannon plays Marina, a Los Angeles-based writer who is visiting her father Chester (Burt Reynolds) as he approaches his 80th birthday. Peterson plays Edward, a well-respected and much-loved doctor who is faced with the early stages of Alzheimer’s.

SYNOPSIS: A poignant story of eight very different people who are at a crossroads in life and must make decisions that will forever change who they are. Jack must decide to spend the rest of his life with his girlfriend Terri. Marina must reconnect with her aging father. Laurel must embrace her new pregnancy and come to terms with her father’s early Alzheimer’s. Lisa is learning to live with MS. And Dave must learn why life is worth it.
