Dog Haus original Biergarten in Old Pasadena, which opened in 2011, has undergone a complete transformation and reopened its doors to the public on Aug. 2. The craft casual concept, known for its gourmet hot dogs, sausages, burgers, and one-of-a-kind creations, will further elevate its guest experience by serving all-new cocktails alongside its praised menu offerings within its renovated modern industrial space.
“Dog Haus has had the incredible opportunity to serve the Old Pasadena community for more than eight years, but we knew that it was time for an upgrade in order to enhance our guests’ experience,” said General Manager Arjun Multani. “We’re thrilled to reopen and show off all of the improvements. Our first month back in business is going to be full of fun activations. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone!”
Located at 93 E. Green St., the improvements included an updated interior with double the number of taps and triple the number of seats at the bar, and it will also have an all-new cocktail program handcrafted by Phil Wills, as seen on Bar Rescue. Wills has a long-established relationship with Dog Haus, beginning when he was originally brought on to help create and design the bar program for the very first Dog Haus Biergarten in 2011.
The new space also includes more exposed brick and new furniture and fixtures using reclaimed wood and hot-rolled steel. All of the proprietary furniture is designed in house and manufactured by Pyramid Powder Coating, the restaurant’s sister company. Like its furniture at the locations are designed by the craft casual brand’s in-house design team.
“From the new bar with Phil’s cocktail program to the modernized furniture, every part of this remodel is sure to give guests an upgraded dining experience,” said Co-Founder Quasim Riaz. “Having been the first Dog Haus Biergarten established, we felt it was time for a remodel, and we can’t wait to see the response.”
Dog Haus Biergarten Old Pasadena is open Saturday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to midnight and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 a.m.
